This session was even more special because Taylor is like family! We first met her mom, Wendy, when we did HER senior portraits, and we have photographed Taylor since she was a baby.
Taylor is so gorgeous naturally; there aren’t many people who look equally great in torn jeans and a sparkly prom dress! But what
I really wanted to show was Taylor’s vibrant personality. She has an incredible smile and simply GLOWS when she laughs.
Taylor was super excited to do pics with her Jeep, and wanted to include her dog, Bentley. We decided to go for a relaxed, summery vibe. At first, Bentley wasn’t too sure about posing for the camera, but the popsicles worked great at keeping him “motivated!”
And of course, THAT AMAZING DRESS. It was such a statement piece that we decided to keep the set very simple.

Actor / singer / dancer / musician, Ben is a true renaissance man. I loved bringing his creative ideas to life.
Musical theater is a big part of Ben’s life. We made a fun set with all of his playbills and show paraphernalia. Our vintage microphone was the perfect prop to showcase his love of performing music.
We recreated the original “Footloose” poster. Ben even went to the trouble of finding an original Walkman to add authenticity to the look.
And for the grand finale, we did “Singin’ in the Rain”. He was a real pro, even while getting drenched. Gene Kelly, eat your heart out

Mia is one of those people who has got it figured out (well as much as any of us can, right?). Mia is our Senior Feature for today and we couldn’t be more impressed by her!

Kaitlin is anything but ordinary! We had SO much fun during her senior session! At her consultation, we discussed how she wanted unique images that showcased her diverse personality. We talked about colors, styles but more than that we went deeper with concepts and what she wanted to represent & say with her senior portraits. She is an amazing girl, and I am beyond happy I got to collaborate with her.
Kaitlin likes to dress in the edgy 90’s grunge fashion but didn’t want to look like every other senior girl. So we had fun with it! Decided to skip the hard, edgy style and went with action & personality instead. I have to say, I think she hit the mark!
We did some glamorous stuff, some theater, shot some images for her book club podcast –
but my other favorite idea of hers was a look she wanted to have an African feel. I LOVED the idea and wanted the images to reflect warmth, rawness & strength. Here’s to you Kaitlin, you’re going to go far!
